Our dress code is ‘colorful cocktail’. Whether it’s monochrome or multicolored, patterned or solid - wear something you feel great in, and shoes you can dance in!
What is the best way to get to Carrie Nation?
Carrie Nation is located at 11 Beacon St. in Boston, MA. We recommend using public transportation or a taxi/ride-share to get there. The closest T stations are Park Streer or Government Center (5 min. walk). The most convenient parking garages are One Beacon St. Garage (5 minute walk), Center Plaza Garage (5 minute walk), or the Boston Common Garage (15 minute walk). For those staying in the hotel block, it is a 15-20 minute walk to the venue, through Boston Common.
Will there be food?
Although there will be no formal dinner, there will be heavy appetizers, drinks, and dessert. We recommend that you have a late lunch or early dinner beforehand.
When is the wedding ceremony?
We've opted for a private ceremony a few days before the party.
Are children invited?
Due to limited space at Carrie Nation, we can only accomodate invited guests.
Where are the best places in Boston to catch a drag show?
We're big fans of local drag. You can't go wrong with Jacque's Cabaret! For brunch, check out Dani's Queer Bar, Summer Shack, Henry Paquin Events. Oh and we can't forget Carrie Nation. Rumor has it that one of Boston's most notorious queens is set to be there on May 24th around 8pm...
